PERFORMANCE

When the skin gets inflamed from acne, our skin releases melanin.  This causes dark spots known as inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).  The effect from from PIH can last longer than acne itself and is most prevalent in melanin-rich skin. 

It is essential to treat acne skin with a different approach for those with darker skin tones because a simple breakout can result in scarring, dark marks, and keloids.

HEAL treats acne with the use of gentle ingredients.  Gentle ingredients are a must when treating acne as harsher products can cause severe dryness and/or irritation which worsens dark spots.  HEAL is designed to activate preventative measures, improve, and minimize scarring most commonly known as dark spots.

INGREDIENTS

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
Activated charcoal works to deeply cleanse the skin, clear pores, extract pollutants, and remove dead skin cells. The end result is visibly softer, smoother, and more even-hued skin.

WILLOW BARK EXTRACT
Containing salicin—from which salicylic acid is sourced—this multifaceted component has both anti-inflammatory and antiseptic features, unclogging pores and relieving acne and discomfort.

HIBISCUS POWDER
Hibiscus contains phenolic compounds that scavenge free radicals from the skin, reducing oxidative stress from environmental harm. Containing a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), this plant offers a natural way to exfoliate skin, diminishing hyperpigmentation and acne.

CHAMOMILE POWDER
Contains anti-inflammatory ingredients to soothe acne-prone skin. Chamomile is a mild astringent used to reduce redness and inflammation, effectively drying out blemishes.

GREEN TEA POWDER
Boasting powerful polyphenols that defend the skin from oxidative damage and UV radiation, this mask also contains anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing properties, helping reduce skin irritation, redness, and swelling.

ROUTINE

Add a few drops of water for desired consistency to a teaspoon of mask powder into a non-metal small bowl. Apply a thin layer to face with a brush or fingertips 1-2x/week after cleansing, while the skin is still moist. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes, spritz with a toner or hydrosol to avoid completely drying.  Rinse with warm water or remove with a hand towel and follow with toner.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eye. If irritation occurs, rinse with cool water and discontinue use. Keep out of reach of children.
