PERFORMANCE

When the skin gets inflamed from acne, our skin releases melanin.  This causes dark spots known as inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).  The effect from from PIH can last longer than acne itself and is most prevalent in melanin-rich skin. 

It is essential to treat acne skin with a different approach for those with darker skin tones because a simple breakout can result in scarring, dark marks, and keloids.

HEAL treats acne with the use of gentle ingredients.  Gentle ingredients are a must when treating acne as harsher products can cause severe dryness and/or irritation which worsens dark spots.  HEAL is designed to activate preventative measures, improve, and minimize scarring most commonly known as dark spots.

TEA TREE HYDROSOL
This astringent features antiseptic, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties, making it an ideal solution for those with acne-prone skin.

NIACINAMIDE
Niacinamide to help soothe redness and inflammation of the skin, reduce breakouts, and regulate sebum production to keep skin balanced and healthy. 

WILLOW BARK EXTRACT
Containing salicin—from which salicylic acid is sourced—this multifaceted component has both anti-inflammatory and antiseptic features, unclogging pores and relieving acne and discomfort.

SODIUM HYALURONATE
Attracts and binds moisture to the skin, which can help reduce dryness.

ROUTINE

After you've cleansed and dampened skin with a toner, use a pea-sized amount and lightly cover your entire face and neck. Can be applied with your fingertips or palms. Allow for the serum to dry completely, follow with a moisturizer.  Best used during your PM routine for better absorption while your skin replenishes at night.
