PERFORMANCE

Less sebum, an oily substance produced by the body to retain moisture to the skin, leads to dry skin. Dry skin lacks the necessary lipids (fats) needed to retain moisture and build a protective shield against external influences. Leading to a compromised barrier function.

Melanin rich skin tones tends to be more susceptible to dry skin as it lacks ceramides, fatty molecules that make up the outer barrier of your skin, preventing water loss.

SOOTHE is recommended to moisten skin with gentle, soothing ingredients that hydrate and provide relief to dry skin.

INGREDIENT

MARSHMALLOW ROOT
Comforts and repairs skin while alleviating irritation. Offers calming, anti-inflammatory and hydrating benefits. Formulated for distressed and delicate skin.

COCONUT MILK
Coconut milk's high-fat content makes for an effective topical moisturizer when applied to dry skin, and also seals in moisture to keep skin hydrated. Its quick absorption smooths skin cells and the fatty acids promote elasticity.

ROUTINE

Add a few drops of water for desired consistency to a teaspoon of mask powder into a non-metal small bowl. Apply a thin layer to face with a brush or fingertips 1-2x/week after cleansing, while the skin is still moist. Allow to sit for 5-10 minutes, spritz with a toner or hydrosol to avoid completely drying.  Rinse with warm water or remove with a hand towel and follow with toner.

PROFESSIONAL TIP: Mix with your favorite cleanser for a multi-purpose exfoliating wash.
